Ideas are abstractions. People are not. I’ve sat in hours upon hours of design sessions, product pitches, and concept sessions and often the only thing missing is the human being that may or may not need the product. People are messy and consistently inconsistent. They change and their needs change. What works in one neighborhood may not work in another. All great design begins by stepping into the mess and asking good questions…..
